Elk jaar wordt door de Stichting Werkgroep Antibiotica Beleid een voorjaarssymposium georganiseerd. Op dit symposium presenteert een aantal onderzoeksgroepen hun resultaten die in affiliatie met de SWAB werden en nog worden uitgevoerd. De voordrachten worden afgesloten door een tweetal presentaties van (inter)nationale sprekers.
